A Reminder of Safety and Responsibility for Conceal Carry.

States that has conceal carry know how hard the fight has been to get it through.  So, I have put together a reminder for safe and responsible Constitutional Conceal Carry.

Nebraska has finally decided to take up the challenge of passing a law enabling conceal carry.  Along with that comes one of the most serious responsibilities of any of your life.  The power to end another person's life is one you should NEVER take lightly.  But our Founding Fathers saw fit to grant all law-abiding folks the right to defend their selves against treats of bodily harm, robbery, defense of family and home.

It extends to the defense of others if they are threatened.  Here if you ever find yourself in that situation be sure of the circumstances.

This information is designed to aid you in the use of your gun and do it safely and guided by existing laws and common sense.

1.  ALL guns are loaded.  Never assume otherwise

2.  Never use a gun to intimidate or deter aggression.  You just might find yourself in a bad situation that might not have happened.

3.  Most people in their day-to-day business are going about their lives and not paying much attention to people around them.  Your place in this is to be as neutral as you can be. Never stand out or advertise the fact you have a concealed Weapon.  In other words, do your best to not be noticed.  It can only cause others to react differently to you.

4.  If you realize you do need to use your weapon one of the worse things you can do is show your weapon and expect it to defuse the situation.  In 75% of cases, it will turn out bad.

5.  If you have decided you are going to use your weapon don't shoot a warning shot.  You turn loose a projectile that can travel a long way off and have no idea where it will land.

6.  If you really don't feel comfortable using your weapon under no circumstances draw it.  If you want to get bad hurt draw a weapon and then not be willing to use it.
